Coley was a proud member of the Laborers Union, Local 223 for 50 years. In his retirement, he found immense joy in spoiling his seven grandchildren and traveling with his wife to destinations near and far, always in search of the finest traditional Irish music. He was a self-taught accordion player himself purchasing his own accordion at a young age with such pride. Anyone that knew and loved him knew he loved going on daily walks. Coley was a person of deep faith devoted to his daily practices and grounded in love for his family. The image of him being welcomed into heaven with open arms reunited with his wife, Annie paints a comforting and peaceful picture of his afterlife.
