McLean, Colin James
SCHUYLERVILLE - Mr. Colin James McLean, 74, of Schuylerville, N.Y., passed away peacefully, in the comfort of his own home, on October 13, 2025, with his loving partner, Linda, by his side.
He was born in West Yorkshire, England, to the late James and Gerda McLean.
Colin was the brother to the late Hazel McLean and Heather Greenwood, who, in addition to their parents, predeceased Colin.
Colin is survived by his loving and devoted life partner, Linda Pleat; a cherished stepdaughter, Sarah Pleat Eilenberg; a son-in-law, Peter Eilenberg; and granddaughter, Judith Eilenberg. All of them will deeply miss and cherish Colin's memory, especially his two fur babies, Lil Man and Lil Miss.
Colin worked as a foreign car mechanic and a professional race car mechanic in past years.
A Celebration of Life for Colin will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2025, with a gathering from 2-4 p.m., at the Dovegate, 184 Broad Street, Schuylerville, N.Y. 12871.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to H.O.PE. (Hope for Orphaned Pets Exist) 3065 Rt. 50 (D-1 Box 68), Saratoga Springs, N.Y. 12866.
