Colleen and I had so much fun growing up. I will always remember her as smart, confident and a pleasure to be with.

I would like to add another memory. Colleen got a lot of love and comfort from her sister Robin Barnicoat. Robin and her husband Alfred owned a gorgeous older home on the ocean in Warwick R.I. I was invited to spend one week with Colleen and her sisters family and we had a really fun time. We played with Robins young children and Robin took us to the beach. I think Colleen got the love she needed from those family members and it must have been a true heartache when Colleen lost her sister. She never spoke about her parents maybe it was just too hard for her. I have so many memories I could tell you but I will stop here.

I met Colleen in Wellesley Hills at the French´s house. After her parents had passed away they asked that she live with the French family. I don´t think she was ever truly happy there they were lacking in the love she needed as a young girl. We had loads of fun running around the neighborhood as kids do. We went on a trip to Bermuda and took the bus into Hamilton. When we boarded the bus someone had left milk in the seat and I plopped right down into that milk. While I was crying Colleen was laughing it was ridiculously funny! I never got angry it was funny. She was a strong person regardless of her situation living with the French´s she made friends in school as she was a grade behind me. Colleen was a joy to be with and I was horrified to read of her passing as we had lost touch for many years. Our young years were so much fun I am totally shocked to hear of her passing and wished I had contacted her much sooner. I myself have Myeloma which is bone marrow cancer. I think we could have shared our feelings maybe about this terrible affliction.

Colleen was a wonderful, creative and friendly neighbor! She was always kind easy to talk with. She had a huge heart! Going to miss her beautiful smile. Hugs to Jon and family. She is at peace now and free of pain.

I remember working with Colleen to design and install a really cool vinyl octopus on her fridge. She had such great and creative ideas and I truly enjoyed spending time with her and collaborating on the project.
She was incredibly caring, supportive, and generous especially when it came to animals, but most importantly was the care and friendship she gave my mom when she was also fighting the battle against cancer.
Colleen was truly a beautiful sole and will be missed.

Colleen was a lovely person and a very talented artist. We met her and her husband Jon at Sea-Vu South in Wells, ME. We enjoyed our time together and traveled together to Punta Cana. We are so incredibly sad to hear that she lost her battle. She fought harder than anyone we knew. Hope she´s at peace. Our sincere sympathies to Jon and her family.
