Colleen Marie Mathis

MATHIS, Colleen Marie, of Flushing, age 70, died Tuesday, January 13, 2026 at Hurley Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at the Plumb-Smith Funeral Home, Rev. Sarah LaRose-Nettell officiating. Burial will be in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Colleen will lie in state at the Plumb-Smith Funeral Home, G-1208 North Ballenger Highway, Flint Township, where friends may visit Sunday and Monday 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM. Colleen was born in Flint, November 27, 1955. She enjoyed photography, particularly of wildlife. She was all about her family and nature. She took feeding the animals to a new level!

Surviving are: husband, Don Mathis; children, Keith Kenworthy, and David (Maryann) Kenworthy; grandchildren, Perrin, Brandon (Kacie), Faith (Evan), and Carolyn; brothers, Steven (Deb) Rowley, Mark (Theresa) Rowley, Patrick (David) Rowley, Don Rowley, and Jeff (Cheryl) Damon; many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Donald S. and Carolyn (Jesme) Rowley, and brothers, John A. Rowley and Michael Rowley.
