Collin Rae Whitlock

Collin Rae Whitlock, a man who was passionate and spirited, left this world on June 13, 2025, at the age of 29, born on August 18, 1995, in San Angelo, Texas. He passed away in Granbury, Texas, surrounded by the landscapes he enjoyed.
Collin was loved by all of his family. He was the beloved son of Steven and Frankie Whitlock, brother to Arica McLemore, and brother-in-law to Steven McLemore. His role as an uncle to Avery, Ellie, and Zoee McLemore was one he embraced with enthusiasm, always ready to share in their adventures and dreams.
Collin was also a treasured grandson to Janelle Whitlock and a beloved nephew to his Aunt Connie King, Aunt Vanessa Hall, Uncle Danny Hall, and to his cousins, Robin and Brian Adkins, with their children Mason and Maddison; Ryan and Juanita Hall, with their children Katy and Camryn; Erin and Austin Weitner, with their children Paytin, Stratton, Asher, Bearon, and Creede; and Bryan and Ashley King, with their children Emily and Hunter.
Collin's large family circle and his many friends will deeply miss his vibrant presence. Collin's passions extended beyond his vocation. He loved boating, finding solace and excitement on the water. His love for the challenge of mastering BBQ was only matched by his enthusiasm for a good fishing adventure. He and his dad both had few of all these moments together and they will always be treasured. Collin gathered with Friends and family, sharing stories and creating memories. Describing Collin requires words that echo his challenge for life: he was passionate in his pursuits, loving in his relationships, and spirited in every endeavor. His laughter was infectious, his smile at times a beacon of warmth. As we say farewell to Collin Rae Whitlock, our son, we cherish those moments of life that God showed through him. He lives on in the cherished memories we hold.
