It´s hard to believe you´re gone Cousin. I´m so happy we spoke a couple days before you left. I will cherish our last conversation and our kinship-love for one another. Thanks Bunches for all love, it was real. Gosh! I´ll miss you, Cooper, and I´ll never forget you. I hope and pray that it is all well with you now, and I hope to see you when I get there.

I was sadden to hear of the passing of Columbus. Whom I have known for many years. He was one of the best Barbers in Odessa back in the 60's on Fitch street. He always had great conversation and at times good advice , good books to read like Reader's Digest, Jet and Ebony on hand with a checker table with matches ongoing. During summers we would see all our friends there. It was more than a Barber shop. Columbus made us feel at home. I remember some of the members of the famous Doo-Wop singing group the "'Velvets""of Odessa would get their processes done by Mr Cooper. "It was a sight to see them hurrying to wash that formula out!" I can still see Columbus just laughing. Condolences to the family. May he rest in peace.
