Conceptia Sylvia Pierre

Conceptia Sylvia Pierre, 96, passed away on December 30, 2025, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. Conceptia was born on June 19, 1929, in Trou Du Nord, Haiti. She was the daughter of the late Esau Pierre and the late Lormilia Joseph. Conceptia was a homemaker. She was a member of the Cathedral of St. Catharine of Siena Roman Catholic Church in Allentown.

She enjoyed cooking, listening to music, hosting, and spending time with friends and loved ones. You would often find her chatting on the phone with friends and watching game shows. Most of all, she enjoyed going to church and praying the Rosary.

Survivors: She is survived by her brothers, Dulet and Elie Pierre; her children: Paulin Pierre, Marie Mercie Lamour-Clergé, and Jocelyne Gibbons; her grandchildren: Dugay, Jean-Marie Daniel, Dukens, Sebastian, Steeve, Stephanie, Kimarah, Delcamise, and Wesly Anthony. She is also survived by her numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, January 9, 2026, at 11 A.M. at the Cathedral of St. Catharine of Siena Church, 18th and Turner Sts. Allentown. A viewing will be held on Thursday, January 8, 2026, from 3 P.M. to 5 P.M. and on Friday, January 9, 2026, from 9:30 A.M. to 10:30 A.M. at the J.S. Burkholder Funeral Home, 1601 W. Hamilton Street, Allentown, PA 18102.
