CONCETTA RICCITELLI Obituary

Published by Legacy on Oct. 13, 2025.
With deep love and profound sadness, we announce the passing of Concetta Ann Riccitelli, who entered eternal rest on October 4, 2025, at the age of 92. A beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, Ann was a shining light to all who knew her-full of grace, warmth, strength, and unwavering faith.

Born on Valentine's Day in 1933 in New Haven, Connecticut, to Frank Maraucci and Antoinette (D'Amato) Maraucci, Ann was raised in a home where faith and family came first. After her mother's passing, she was lovingly raised by her stepmother, Carmel (D'Amato) Maraucci. She graduated from the School of Saint John Commercial, majoring in secretarial skills-an education that prepared her for a dedicated career of service and professionalism.

Ann began her working life at RKO Theater and ADC Advertising Distributor Company, and later served with great pride and care as a secretary in the Pulmonary Department at Saint Raphael Hospital in New Haven.

A devout Catholic and a woman of deep, abiding faith, Ann had an unshakable devotion to Jesus. Her life was a testament to the values she held dear-love, generosity, hospitality, and the joy of family. She was a longtime parishioner of Saint Sebastian Catholic Church in Sebastian, Florida, where her spirit of service and reverence touched many.

Ann's passions were many and full of life: she excelled in her Duck Pin Bowling League, often sharing laughter and strikes with her family; she enjoyed bocce, card games, and hosting lively gatherings full of her homemade Italian specialties. In later years, she treasured Sunday brunches with her dear Florida friends. A gym enthusiast long before it was trendy, Ann loved brisk walks and the company of loved ones-especially when playing Bingo, Rummikub, Bunco, Pinochle, and Poker.

Traveling, especially to her cherished homeland of Italy, brought her great joy. She lived every moment with passion, always eager to experience life's blessings and to share them with others.

Ann was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Angelo A. Riccitelli (2011), with whom she shared a lifetime of love, laughter, and devotion.

She leaves behind a family who adored her and will carry her legacy forward: Her children, Diane C. Esposito (John), Michael Riccitelli (Kim), and Lisa A. Klauser; her grandchildren, David A. Esposito, Laura M. Trumpold (Ernie), Glen Riccitelli (Bella), Casey Wiesel (Jared), and Griffen Klauser; her precious great-grandson, Blaise Angelo Riccitelli; and her devoted brothers, Michael Maraucci (Judy) and Anthony Maraucci (Ann).

Ann's life will be celebrated on Friday, October 17, 2025, at Saint Sebastian Catholic Church, 13075 US Highway 1, Sebastian, FL. The Rosary will begin at 10:30 AM, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM, with a reception to follow. All who knew and loved Ann are warmly invited to attend.

The Graveside Service will be held at St. Lawrence Cemetery, 280 Derby Avenue, West Haven, CT 06516 Saturday, November 15th at 10am.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations in Ann's memory be made to EWTN or VNA Hospice House, https://foundation.vnatc.com/

in Vero Beach, FL-two causes close to her faithful and generous heart. VNA Hospice Foundation @ 772-563-0017or EWTN at 800-447-3986.

Ann's faith never wavered, and her love never faltered. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who had the blessing of knowing her.

"Well done, good and faithful servant." – Matthew 25:23
