Conchita Urias Obituary
March 11, 1941 - September 18, 2025
Conchita C. Urias was called home to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at the blessed age of 84. She was born March 11, 1941, in San Antonio, TX to Jose and Mariana Cansino. She is reunited in heaven with her parents; sons Steve Briones, and Ismael Urias; siblings Josefina Gray, Jose Cansino Jr., and Jose Paz Lopez. She is loved and will be greatly missed by her husband of 49 years Gilberto Urias; children Kathleen Gusman, Maria Urias-Gutierrez, and Joe G. Urias; honorary-daughter Veronica Urias; grandchildren Ariana Urias, Analia Urias, Mia Gusman, Alejandra Diaz, Araceli Urias, Gilbert Cook, and Ismael Urias II; sister Esther Medrano; son-in-law Shawn Gusman; daughter-in-law Laura Lujan Fuentes; numerous great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and extended family members and friends. Heaven has gained a treasured soul. She will live forever in our hearts.
Services:
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 28, 2025, from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM with a rosary recited at 6:00 PM at Mission Park Funeral Chapels South. Procession will depart from the funeral home on Monday, September 29, 2025, at 9:30 AM for a 10:00 AM Mass at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. Interment to follow at San Jose Burial Park.
