Connie A. Brown, 82, of Mineral Wells, WV passed to the Lord on Tuesday, January 27, 2026 at Rockland Ridge in Belpre, OH.
She was born May 18, 1943 in Parkersburg to the late Harvey L. Morrison Sr and Mae Louise Larue Morrison. Connie was a 1961 graduate of Wirt County High School. She served 43 years working at United Bank in bookkeeping and was a member of Rockport Church of Christ. Connie was a lifetime member of Camden Clark Foundation. She enjoyed reading the bible, feeding the squirrels and deer and trips to the Amish Country with her husband, Carroll “Brownie”.
Left to cherish her memory include her sister, Wanda M. Mills; sister-in-law, Peggy Morrison; aunt, Frances Fought; nieces, Penny Weekley (Kevin), Angela Rule (Rich) and Julie Preston (Steve); great-nieces and nephew, Taylor Trembly (Brandon), Summer Rule, Emily Milhoan (Alec) and Ryan Weekley; two great-great nieces, Maya Trembly and Evie Milhoan and several additional nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Carroll “Brownie” Brown on December 22, 2025; brother, Harvey L. Morrison, Jr. on November 18, 2025; sister, Jeri Sheridan; brother-in-law, John Mills on February 5, 2022; aunts and uncles, Irene Gault (Lionel), Rosanne LaRue (Pat) and Frankie Fought.
A graveside service will be held 11:00 am Wednesday, February 4, 2026 at Sunset Memory Gardens with J.D. Smith officiating.
Connie and Brownie were the first residences at the Rockland Ridge Nursing Facility in Belpre on July 5, 2021. The family would like to thank Rockland Ridge for their kindness and love given to Brownie and Connie during their stay.
