Connie Carter Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Adams Funeral Home - Woodstown on Mar. 5, 2026.
Connie Carter, 79, of Salem, New Jersey passed away on February 23, 2026. Born on August 6, 1946, in Crossett, Arkansas, he was the son of the late Conrad and Virginia Carter. In 1985, Connie and his late wife Wanda moved their family from Crossett to New Jersey where they continued to grow. No matter the mile though Connie would always return to Arkansas to visit his family that still resided there.

He was a man who truly never met a stranger, known for his warm personality, easy conversation, and the way he could make anyone feel like an old friend. Connie found joy in life's simple pleasures. He loved fishing, spending time at the beach and watching NASCAR races. One of his favorite traditions was the annual trip to Virginia Beach, a place where he created many cherished memories over the years.

He was also an avid collector of watches and had a passion for documenting his life. Connie was a devoted recorder of his days, often writing in his journals and capturing the small moments that made life meaningful.

Connie is survived by his three daughters, Brooke English (Don), Whitney Supernavage (Jason) and Nolley Rainey; his sister, Carol Barton (Danny); his grandchildren, Taylor Boxer, Scott Boxer, Abby Buoncuore, Jake Buoncuore, Emma Supernavage, Gabe Supernavage and Mia Rainey.

He was predeceased by his wife of 55 years Wanda Carter; his parents, Conrad and Virginia Carter; his brother, Robert Carter, and his granddaughter Morgan Boxer.

Services will be held at a later date.
