Connie Marie Cooley

Connie Marie Cooley was born November 28, 1947, and passed away February 15, 2026, at the age of 78.
She was known as a dedicated and dependable hard worker who truly enjoyed her time working for Turner Industries. Work was something she took pride in, and that pride showed in everything she did. In her free time, one of her simple joys was riding around town with a Diet Coke from Dairy Queen in hand, taking in the day and enjoying life's quiet moments. She never met a stranger and loved having long conversations with friends, family, and anyone willing to sit and chat a while. She especially enjoyed cooking for the holidays, bringing family together around the table with meals made with love. Nothing meant more to her than family. Her love shone brightest when spending time with her great grandchildren, who brought endless pride and happiness to her life. She will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever carried in the hearts of all who knew her.
She is survived by her sons, Johnathan Brown and wife Melissa, and Christopher Brown and wife Rita; grandchildren, Christopher Brown Jr., Temperance Alexander and husband Cody, Maxwell Brown and wife Moriah, Edward Brown, and John Brown and wife Ericka; and great grandchildren, Maisy Brown, Christopher Brown III, and Aries Alexander.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Frank and Ida Pitre; and parents, Richard and Frankie Quinn.
Family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, February 19, 2026, at Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. 4th Street, DeQuincy, Louisiana. Rev. Dwayne Hyatt will be officiating.
