It´s hard to believe it´s been 10 years. Connie, I now have 3 grandchildren! Grandson who turned 7 in April. Two Granddaughters will be 4 and 1 both in July. Also found out 2 weeks ago that Grand-baby #4 will arrive in December. I know you would be so joyful for me because I saw you with your own grandchildren and the love and joy you had for them. I miss you and will always think of you fondly. Your RN and friend, Trish

We met Connie in Father Dave's new members class at Advent. She was such a gentle and kind person, always with a smile. It was great getting to know Connie over the course of the classes. She truly adored her family! Our heartfelt sympathy goes to her husband, children and grandchildren.

Dear John and Family, Connie was someone who had my utmost respect and admiration. For the past 8 years there was not one time I saw her that she didn't bring joy to my heart. I will miss our conversations, her smiles and hugs. My most deepest sympathies for your loss. Trish (RN and even better, friend)

My condolences to Connie's family. May you find comfort in God's promise to comfort you and bring you joy instead of grief - Jeremiah 31:13b.

Connie was our friend. She was a 'Sister' to Dorianne and other ovca survivors at the DOCF in our fight against ovarian cancer. She was kind, generous, sweet and 'ever young'. Connie was a long-time active member of the Delaware Ovarian Cancer Foundation (DOCF). She participated and volunteered at our annual May DOCF Teal Ribbon 5K and our September DOCF Luncheon & Silent Auction fundraisers. Connie always reached out to help others. She will be dearly missed and always remembered for her friendly, gentle kindness. We are so very fortunate to have known her.
"May light perpetual shine upon her."

As a coworker of John's for many years. John had nothing but great things to say about Connie and his family. The memories will never fade.

Very sorry to hear about Connie. I have seen her over the years and knew she was fighting it. I have many fond memories playing with her on Lyndhurst Ave. A great loss to the Lau/Copeland families.
