Connie Eason Obituary
Connie Skinner Eason, Wilson passed away Thursday. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, March 23, 2026, in Evergreen Memorial Park, Wilson. Pastor Matthew Roman will officiate.
The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 5 – 7 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson.
Connie is survived by her loving husband of forty-eight years, Russell Eason; daughter, Gwen Cockrell and husband, Melvin; sons, Rusty Eason and wife, Barbara “daughter-in-love” and Jason Eason; granddaughters, Alyssa Cockrell and husband, Robert and Alaina Hearne and husband, Brysun, and her grandson, Connor Eason.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmo and Fannie Skinner; brother, Jack Smith and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
