Connie Follis went peacefully from this world to be with her Lord and Savion on October 14, 2025. Connie's parents were Col. james Lee Sandlin and Marie Johnson Sandlin. she was born in Memphis, Tennessee on May 27,1940.
Connie attended Greenville High School, Class of 1958. she earned a Bachelor and Master's Degree in English and Spanish from East Texas University and taught school in Greenville for about fifteen years.
She and her husband, Gary Whitlock, owned and operated a Pawn Shop in Quinlan for twelve years. After Mr. Whitlock's death in 1999, the store was sold in 2004.
She married Rodney Follis in September 2003. At the time of her death, they resided at Greenville Club Lake. she spent many hours on the front porch, enjoying the lake and the beautiful western sunset.
Connie is survived by her husband of 22 years, Rodney Follis. Other survivors include her daughter, Tammy Moore of Dallas; granddaughter Jade Johnson; and grandson Joshua Whitlock.
