Connie H. Gresham

Cornelia Harley Gresham, 92, of 264 Winfield Drive, died Wednesday, June 23, 2010 at her home. Born October 17, 1917 in Holly Springs, SC, she was the daughter of the late Broadus Furman and Sallie Bruce Harley and the wife of the late Edwin Willingham Gresham. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Spartanburg. Survivors include a daughter, Carol G. Stephens and husband Mike of Greenville; two sons, Edwin H. Gresham and wife Barbara of Spartanburg and Warren W. Gresham of Waynesville, NC; two sisters, Kathryn H. Belmont of Spartanburg and Thelma H. Duncan of Greenville; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by five sisters and a brother. A graveside service will be held at 11:30 AM on Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, conducted by the Rev. Bob Morgan. Visitation will follow the service at Floyd’s Greenlawn Chapel. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Spartanburg, 250 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29306; or to Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home, 686 Jeff Davis Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29303; or to a charity of one’s choice.
