Connie Jean Harris, 71, of Latonia, died Monday, July 28, 2025, at home. Connie was born January 12, 1954, in Covington, the daughter of the late Earl Marksberry and Maxine Bone Marksberry. She was a waitress at Skyline Chili in Covington for over 21 years. She was married June 10, 1972, to Michael E. Harris, who survives. Also surviving are her daughters, Jennifer Harris, Amanda Harris and Kelly Harris (Chris); three grandchildren, Corbin, Keaton and Juliana Harris ; one great-grandchild Palmer Harris,and three siblings, Billy Marksberry; Ronnie Marksberry and Angela Reis, and many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by siblings David and Donald Marksberry and Rosie Laswell. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Friday, August 1, 2025, at Floral Hills Funeral Home, Chapel A, where visitation will be held Friday from 11-1 PM. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Floral Hills is honored to serve the Harris family.
