Connie L. Keto, 75, of Rock Island, passed away, Saturday, March 2, 2024, at UnityPoint Heath – Trinity.
Cremation rites will be accorded and a private family service will be held. Memorials may be made in care of the family. Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family.
Connie was born April 2, 1948, in Moline, IL, the daughter of Lyle and Nellie (Johnson) Iverson. She married Thomas Keto on August 15, 1970, at First Lutheran Church in Rock Island. She worked as a supervisor at ARC of the Quad Cities, retiring in 2011. In Connie's younger years, she was the life of the party. Her smile could light up a room and was contagious.
Connie enjoyed listening to music, playing computer games, going to the casino, and shopping. She was a big fan of many different TV shows, especially the British ones. Whether it be going to her brother's house to enjoy the pool or taking the trip to her parents' cabin in Decorah, IA, Connie loved spending time with her family.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters: Jennifer (Brett) Long, Julie Camp, AnnMarie (Tuvi) Mendel; grandchildren: Devin, Michael, Jacob, Delaney, Kaitlyn, Jackson, Mia, Silas; siblings: Carol Chandler, Karl Iverson, Jon Iverson; and life-long best friend, Ellie Rauch.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Kathie Nitz.
