It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of Connie McArthur, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, who left this world peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family. Connie was a woman whose warmth, kindness, and unwavering faith touched the lives of all who knew her.
Connie is survived by her 3 children: Kathy Lee, Richard McArthur, Barbara Goodpaster. Her daughter Donna Davis (Mark Davis) went to be with Jesus in 2020. Her legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren: Loribeth Crisp, Jonathan Doyle, Christina Goodpaster, Linda Ortez (Luis), Joseph Anzano (Alexa), Dominic Anzano, Jordan Davis (Marissa), and Conner Davis (Destinee). She also leaves behind many great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews who she adored.
A woman who loved her family dearly, Connie treasured every moment spent with them. She was known for her generous spirit—never met a stranger and was always ready to lend a helping hand. Her faith in Jesus was the cornerstone of her life, and she joyfully shared her beliefs with anyone willing to listen.
Connie was a member of Glenn Anthony Baptist Church and enjoyed attending Cornerstone Church of God when she was able. Her passions included cooking, sewing, and relaxing while watching NCIS and Hallmark movies. Her warm smile and loving heart made her a beloved figure in her community and family alike.
Connie’s legacy of love, faith, and kindness will forever remain in the hearts of those she touched. She will be deeply missed but fondly remembered for her unwavering devotion to her family and her Lord.
A celebration of Connie’s life will be held at McMullen Funeral Home, where friends and family can gather to honor her memory.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Glenn Anthony Baptist Church or Cornerstone Church of God in Connie’s name, to continue her legacy of giving and faith.
Rest in peace, Momma. Your love and light will forever shine in our hearts.
