Connie Lee Monroe

Mrs. Monroe was a substitute teacher at my school. She always made sure that students had their work done even though she didn't need to. On the last day of school before thanksgiving break, last tuesday, my class happily played charades with her not expecting her death to be soon. We will truly miss Mrs. Monroe!

I will always remember Connie when I think of her parents, the late Mrs. Nancy Lee Cherry and the late Mr. Hubert Cherry of the Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church where Connie was a member until adulthood. She was truly loved in the community. Rest well Connie
