Mrs. Connie Lynne Peoples was born on February 6, 1962, in Rayville, Louisiana, and passed from this life on November 21, 2025, in West Monroe, LA at the age of 63.
Funeral Services will be at 10:00 AM Wednesday, November 26, 2025 in the Chapel of Griffin Funeral Home, 911 Warren Drive, West Monroe, LA. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 PM, Tuesday, November 25, 2024 in the Chapel of Griffin Funeral Home. Interment will follow service at Hasley Cemetery, 1500 Arkansas Rd, West Monroe, LA.
Connie lived a life filled with love, determination, and a deep devotion to her family. She enjoyed the simple joys that brought her peace and happiness like watching wrestling, hunting and fishing, tending to her garden, feeding her beloved hummingbirds, and when able, cooking meals for her family. But above all, she loved spending time with her family. Connie had a warm spirit and a giving heart, and those who knew her will forever cherish the memories made in her presence.
Connie was preceded in death by her parents, James Maxwell and Eleanor Dickey, and her sister, Donna Castillo.
Those left to cherish her memories include her loving husband of 47 years, Tommy Peoples; her children, Tommy Joe Jr. and his wife Marlana, Charles Pugh and his wife Brandi, and Tasha Chisolm and her husband Kenny; sister, Paula Hawley; stepbrothers, Malcomb Dickey, Jon Dickey, and Tony Dickey.
Also left to cherish her includes her eight grandchildren, Mary Ann, Sarah, Elizabeth, Amber, Charles Jr., Dawn Rose, Christian, and Kayden: three great-grandchildren, Laya, Amy Elizabeth, and Murphy.
Connie's legacy lives on in the family she loved so deeply.
Pallbearers will be Jon Dickey, Jacob Nave, Tony Peoples, Darron Pardee, Jonathan Peoples, and Robert Peoples. Honorary pallbearer, AJ Peoples.
