Connie Roquet Obituary
Connie Rae Roquet, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed peacefully after a courageous fight with cancer on June 25th, at the age of 76, surrounded by her family in Wahpeton, North Dakota.
Born on July 7th, 1948-, Connie was the cherished daughter of the late Raymond and Marie Erbes. She built a beautiful life rooted in love, care, and creativity. Connie was a talented beautician by trade, but her greatest joy was found in caring for her family and sharing her many passions.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 56 years, Earl Roquet of Wahpeton ND; her sons, Nathan Roquet of Wahpeton ND and Noel (Michelle) Roquet of Dickinson ND, her treasured grandchildren; Brooke (Jesse) Steingrueber of Dickinson ND, Bailey of Goldsboro North Carolina, Jersey of Bismarck, ND, Carson of Dickinson ND and Kennedy (Mason) Ellingford of Goldsboro North Carolina, and 4 loving Great-Grandchildren. Brothers Tom (Faye) Erbes and Lon (Rhonda )Erbes, along with many other loved ones.
Connie had a warm and generous spirit. She found joy in simple pleasures - baking her famous treats, crocheting handmade gifts for those she loved, crafting, painting, fishing, camping with her family, and watching her children play sports. Her kind heart, nurturing hands, and gentle humor touched all who knew her.
A funeral service to honor Connie's life will be held on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at 10:30 am, with visitation one hour before at St. John's Catholic Church in Wahpeton, ND, where family and friends are invited to gather, remember, and celebrate the beautiful legacy she leaves behind.
Connie will be remembered for her unwavering love, her selfless heart, and the countless ways she made others feel special.
