Connie Lucille Schuler, born on October 24, 1946, in the small town of Creighton, Nebraska, went to be with the Lord while surrounded by the love of her family on Wednesday, June 11, 2025. She was the daughter of the late Milton and Lucille (Clough) Myers.
Connie's educational journey began in her hometown, where she graduated from high school. She further pursued her academic interests by attending Bryant College and Oak Hills Bible College, ultimately completing her nursing education in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Connie dedicated her early career to education, teaching school in Tennessee prior to her flourishing career in nursing.
A woman of many passions, Connie was known for her generous and loving spirit. She found joy in her travels, with a memorable trip to Israel standing out as a highlight of her life. Her love for reading was evident in her collection of Christian fiction books and devotionals, as well as solving crossword puzzles. Connie also had a knack for thrift shopping, often finding special items to bless others. Above all, she cherished her relationship with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Connie regularly tuned in to watch the Jimmy Swaggart services.
Connie is survived by her husband of 49 years, Ralph Schuler, whom she met in the nursing industry, and with whom she shared a loving marriage beginning June 21, 1976, at Evangel Temple. This union blessed her with three daughters: JoAnna Schuler, Bethany Snyder (husband, Matthew), and Allison Boyster (husband, Mark). Her pride extended further with the joys of being a grandma to five grandchildren: Kyrin (Hannah) Boyster, Simeon Boyster, Judah Boyster, Chayse Snyder, and Lydia Boyster; her two great grandchildren: Klyvin and Lily; two siblings: Byron Myers (wife, Linda) and Phyllis Michaelson (husband, Cal). She also leaves behind brother-in-laws and sisters-in-law: Nan Myers, Gary and Shawna Schuler, Steve and Sue Schuler, Pam and Steve Coss, Paula and Kevin Monson, Patty and Jim DeMets, and Polly and David Laugen, along with many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Connie will be remembered not only for her nurturing and kind-hearted nature but also for the lasting impact she made on those around her. She joins in rest her beloved son, Joel Schuler; her parents Milton and Lucille Myers; her siblings Lowell Myers and Margie Bass; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Donald and Avis Schuler; and many other dear relatives.
Family and friends are invited to honor Connie's life at the DeClue Funeral Home in Potosi, Missouri.
