We moved to Robert E Lee Dr in 1995. We think we met Connie and her husband John, as walking and talking neighbors, soon after arriving in the `hood. We always felt happy to see Connie and/or John, who were two of the most positive people we´ve ever met. Connie radiated joy and love and had great interest in the people she met along her walks and through life. She loved talking about her children and grandchildren and asking about other peoples´ families. Her smiles and sweetness made us, and many neighbors who knew her well or barely, feel charmed. We send love to the entire family, especially our friend John. We suspect that we´ll envision John and Connie walking hand-in-hand as we pass their house for the rest of the time we walk around our street.

I only had a few times to get to know Connie when I came to assist with her care. We both grew up in Georgia and shared some memories. She was just so sweet and I know much she enjoyed her career in Social Work and it was such an important contribution to her community. My sympathies to her family .
