Connor Huffman Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Greenlawn Funeral Home North on Jul. 12, 2023.
Connor Huffman, age 26, of Springfield, MO passed away on 07/09/2023 at 2:30pm at Cox South hospital. He waited until his whole family arrived to be with him. He was born 03/13/1997 in Springfield, MO to Linda Jo Huffman and Roger Dean Huffman.
Connors dream was to get married, have kids, and the be a welder like his lifelong friends and brothers Nick and Lucas Johnston. He had a bright soul full of laughs, jokes, and pranks. Even in the hospital in pain he tried to make people laugh. His favorite was to make nurses jump when they were giving his IV meds. A lot of the time he would bark at them and they would laugh so hard! He always thought of other people and would have sacrificed himself to give someone else a better life. He loved playing video games his whole life and it brought him joy when the world was dark. He was a loyal patriots fan and loved football. He even got a signed patriots jersey which was signed by Tom Brady. He loved people, cats, and dogs very deeply and had so much love to spread to the world. His mom was his absolute rock and they always told each other they are a team! They stuck together through many hard times and Connor fought like the warrior that he is!
He is preceded in death by his Papaw, His Uncle Tommy(who he looks like), and his Grandma and Grandpa Huffman.
He is survived by his parents Roger Dean Huffman, Linda Jo Huffman, brothers Chadd Everett Franklin Huffman and Coulter McCord Huffman, Sister Michelle Huffman, Nieces and Nephews Joslyn, Scott, Jodi, Shelby, and Richard, and grandmother Betty Brizendine and husband Wes. In his wallet he kept a picture of his neice Joslyn Shae Huffman and he loved her with all his heart!
Visitation will be 6-8pm on Wednesday July 12th, 2023 and the funeral will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday July 13th, 2023. Both will be held at Greenlawn Funeral Homes north location.
