Conor Holmes, age 19 of
Oldsmar, Florida, passed away on Tuesday, May 16, 2023. He was born at the National Naval Medical Center in
Bethesda, Maryland on February 28, 2004. Being in a Navy family, Conor loved to travel and experience the world. He had been able to see nineteen different countries, and travel around the U.S. For many years soccer was Conor's life. He was a goalkeeper for many teams, but he was extremely proud of being able to play on a German soccer team, SV Vaihingen, and being selected as a regional goalkeeper for the U.S Olympic Development Program. He knew all things cars and could pick out a supercar a mile away. He was the biggest car enthusiast with an extensive knowledge of supercars with dreams to have his own someday. He was extremely proud of his first car, his dad's 2011 BMW 335is. The two worked together for hours to modify the car to personalize it for Conor. He was also proud of his Yamaha R7 motorcycle that he worked hard to get, special ordered, and patiently waited for. He loved riding his bike and was always very safety conscious. Conor's second family was at Pit Crew Tire, where Conor worked every day as he and one of his friends were helping expand the business to include mobile tire services. Conor was so proud of the work they were doing and what they had accomplished. They had just reached a milestone and were able to take their Pit Crew Tire bus to their first event on Sunday, May 14th. Conor had big goals and was excited for his future with the business. Conor had been dating the love of his life, Frankie, and they were planning for their future. Conor and Frankie rescued their dog, Killua, on May 10th. Conor loved Killua and quickly spoiled him. Conor had the biggest heart and was fiercely loyal to his family and friends. He truly loved life, enjoyed the beach, scuba diving, traveling, riding his motorcycle, and spending time with friends, who he loved and thought of as family. Conor was so proud of being a big brother to Cameron, he was always there to protect him, teach him new things, and make him laugh. We loved Conor more than anything in the world and were so proud of the man he became. He will always be our "little man" forever.
Conor is survived by his parents, Kelly and Carey Holmes; brother, Cameron Holmes; his future wife, Frankie Kenney; grandparents, Gerald and Brenda Anderson, Randy and Corbin Cannon, Karen Baskin; Aunt Heather and Uncle Andy Powell; cousins, Rylee and Claire; Uncle Rhett as well as lots of family and friends around the world.
