My sincere sympathies to all of you. Dr. Wiet taught me as a resident and was a colleague for years afterwards. He was the epitome of a gentleman and of a kind and caring physician. He was as fine a person as one could have the privilege to meet. My hopes that solace will come to replace sorrow at his loss.
