Constance "Connie" Harmon Allen
September 10, 1951 – August 28, 2025
Constance "Connie" Harmon Allen, 73, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 28, 2025. She was born on September 10, 1951, to the late Gene and Frances Harmon.
In her later years, Connie devoted herself to being a homemaker, though throughout her life she also held a variety of jobs. She was known for her love of shopping, dining out, traveling, and especially for spending time at the beach. Connie lived with strength and independence, always on her own terms, and she will be remembered most for the deep love she had for her children and family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Gene and Frances Harmon; her brother, Tommy Harmon; her infant son, Christopher Allen Coker; and her grandson, Stephen Ryan Ray.
Connie is survived by her children: Tammy Plair (Kevin), Wanda Ray, and Jonathan Allen (Brooke). She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as her siblings: Dennis Harmon (Tony), Marie Striblin, Mike Harmon (Sherry), David Harmon (Ann), Peggy Arrington (Phillip), Timmy Harmon (P.J.), and Lisa Thompson. She will also be remembered with love by her many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 3, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. Eastern Time at Reeds Chapel Baptist Church in West Point, Georgia.
Connie's memory will forever live on in the hearts of her family and friends, who take comfort in knowing she lived fully and loved deeply.
