**In Loving Memory of Constance "Connie" Mary Atherton**
With heavy hearts, we share the news of the passing of Connie Mary Atherton (nee Barczak), she was a beloved wife, mother, mimi, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. Connie left this world peacefully on May 19, 2025. She walked this Earth gracefully, embodying warmth, kindness, compassion, and an undeniable spirit that touched the lives of those around her.
Connie was a gentle, compassionate soul with a heart of gold, will be fondly remembered by her devoted husband of 45 years, James Atherton, and her two wonderful daughters, Christine Monfredo and Michelle Merkel. She was a trusted mother-in-law to Joseph Monfredo and Adam Merkel. Connie was also a loving daughter of Jeannette Barczak, and sister of Joyce Baublitz, and Lynda Harris and thoughtful sister-in-law to Charles Baublitz and Scott Harris. Connie was known as Mimi to her beloved grandchildren; Brianna, Nicholas, and Antonio Monfredo. She shared her love and kind spirit with multiple nieces and nephews who will miss her greatly; Tom Atherton, Randy Deinlein, Jason Baublitz, Michael Rutter, Amanda Crowley, & Jacob Rutter. In every laugh exchanged, every story shared, and every moment spent together, Connie left a mark on their hearts.
Life may have taken her away, but the memories and love she gifted us will linger on.
She was reunited in eternity with her many loving family members including; Father Edward Barczak, Sister Karen Barczak, Aunt Vera, Uncle Henry, and her Nephew Michael Deinlein.
The family will welcome friends on Friday, May 23, 2025 from 2:00 P.M. - 4:00 P.M. & 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. at Kaczorowski Funeral Home
As we come together to celebrate the love we shared with Connie, let us remember the laughter, the warmth, and the joy that she brought into our lives.
