Dr. Constance Ann "Connie" Bivens

I met Connie when I was 10 years old. Connie and my mother taught together for 3 years at Nova Blanche Foreman Elementary School in Davie, Florida. Once my mother changed schools, she would drive me to Connie´s house each morning, I´d play with her beloved dog, Fleur (Flower) and I would ride with Connie to Nova. I´d walk across the field to Nova 6-12. As an adult, Connie and my mother invited me to membership to Delta Kappa Gamma. Connie was vibrant, enthusiastic, caring, smart and an inspiration. She touched the lives of so many.
