Constance V "Connie" Caggia

Constance (Connie) Caggia, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother passed away peacefully on January 26, 2026, surrounded by family who loved her so dearly. She was born on August 1,1942 and was raised in Brooklyn, NY. Constance had a gift for connection from a young age. At 15 years old she met her childhood sweetheart , Robert at a church dance. A simple moment that blossomed into a love story. Together they shared a devoted marriage of 63 years and raised their children in North Bellmore, NY.

Constance is survived by her loving husband, Robert; her cherished daughter Christine Migliara, son and daughter-in-law Michael and Cynthia Caggia. She was an adoring grandmother to Joseph, James, and Lauren who loved her dearly. She was also a devoted sister, sister-in-law, and aunt to many nieces and nephews.

A woman of strong Catholic faith, Constance dedicated several years teaching religious education to the children of Saint Barnabas Church, nurturing their spiritual growth with kindness and patience. Helping others wasn't just something Constance did-it was who she was. For more than 35 years she was the receptionist at Bellmore Funeral Home, where her compassion, gentle presence, and sincere kindness brought comfort to countless families during their most difficult moments. She had an extraordinary ability to make people feel heard, cared for, and less alone.

Constance treasured the many friendships she built throughout her life and held them close to her heart. She especially loved spending winters in Florida with Robert, enjoying the simple pleasures of everyday life, warm sunshine, shared laughs, and the company of dear friends and family.

Above all, Constance will be remembered for her generous spirit, quiet strength, deep faith, and the love she gave without hesitation. Her legacy lives on in the family she nurtured and the lives that she touched. Constance will be deeply missed and forever remembered by those who loved her.
