Constance Chong (Choe) Cassella, 60, of Woodland, California, passed away on October 5, 2024. She was born on August 30, 1964, in South Korea to the late Young Woong and Yon Yi Chun Choe. Constance was a graduate of Joppatowne High School, Class of 1983.
She was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother whose passing left a void that cannot be filled. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, taking advantage of every opportunity to ensure the people around her felt special. She loved creating hand crafted cards that she mailed to family and friends for the smallest occasions, usually just because she was "thinking about you." She also loved spending time on the beach walking her dogs, Sophie and Hercules, and collecting seashells.
Constance was the beloved wife of Thomas Cassella, Jr. for 35 years; the devoted mother to Anna Shultz and husband Jeremy, Thomas Cassella III and fiancé Raisha Canlas, and Joseph Cassella; and the cherished grandmother of Madison and Makenna Shultz.
Surviving Constance, in addition to her husband, children, and grandchildren, are siblings Steve Choe and wife Kyung Soon, Erica Min and husband Sung, and Insik Choe; father-in-law and mother-in-law Thomas and Anna Cassella; sister-in-law Carol Cassella; brother-in-law John Cassella; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Constance was preceded in death by sister Sue Choe and brother Pom Sik Choe.
Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing in celebration of Constance's life on Saturday, October 12, 2024, from 6:00 to 8:00PM and Sunday, October 13, 2024, from 2:00 to 4:00PM and 6:00 to 8:00PM at Pritts Funeral Home & Chapel, 412 Washington Road, Westminster.
