I met Connie in 2000 when I transferred to Wuerzburg, Germany. As the union representative, she was supportive and upheld teachers' rights. As a friend, her door was always open. Her dinners were phenomenal and not able to be duplicated. I also enjoyed talking to her, as recently as a few weeks ago. I will miss our conversations about all of the good times that we shared.

I was a student at Wuerzburg Elementary School and I always enjoyed a chance to talk with Mrs. Jennings-- it was a long time ago (in the 1980s!) but the thing I remember about her the most was her patience, she seemed to always have time to listen and even have a conversations, which most adults didn't. I'm sorry to hear of her passing, but I'm very sure she's well-remembered by more people than she could count.

Connie was the first person I met when I arrived in Wurzburg, Germany for a new teaching assignment. She invited my husband and I to join her and her friends for Thanksgiving dinner, which became a tradition we continued during her time in Wurzburg. I will always cherish our special friendship...I considered Connie one of my closest friends...I loved her like family!
My one regret is that I did not get to visit her after she retired to North Carolina. I will miss Connie! My daily prayers and thoughts are with her and her family.

After a long day in the classroom, I enjoyed stopping by Connie's room to share the the joys and tribulations of being a fourth grade teacher on Leighton Barracks in Würzburg.

Connie was a wonderful teacher to work. She was smart, had a great sense of humor, and immaculate taste Every child who has her for a teacher was very fortunate. I will always remember her and the great times we had together!

My Aunty, I love you Aunt Tinker, you were so kind and thoughtful. I'll forever be grateful for all the encouraging words, they meant the world to me. I'll always remember taking your water and pepsi back to your room, and then slipping out the door. I'll say love you Aunt Tink, she'll say "I love you too baby". Thank you for all the special moments. Sleep on and take your rest. I know your hearing from your Lord and Savior, "Good and Faithful servant, job well done. I love you
