Aunt Connie was a wonderful woman with so much love to give her immediate family, relatives and friends. I was so blessed to have her as my aunt. A visit with Aunt Connie was a special time for me as a young child and onward. She was always loving and kind. She was gentle and giving. My heart and prayers are with Ann Marie, Richard, and Jeff. I thank my cousins as well for all the wonderful memories I have of Bennington, my birthplace. And on a lighter note: I still try and keep my house as clean as Aunt Connie did hers! That always amazed me. A special woman who I prayed for every night and who I now pray to. I love you Aunt Connie ~ thanks for all you gave me and taught me. God Bless You!

I was very saddened by the news of Connie's death she was the nicest lady you could ever know.My family knew Connie through "His Pantry".I'll always remember Connie for her kindness and her warmth, everytime I saw her she would ask how my kids were doing and so forth.I'll never forget Connie,my family and I will miss her a great deal,I'm having a hard time accepting she is really gone because she always had such spunk and spirit.God Bless her soul and her family during this very difficult time,my prayers are with you.

Dear Jeff and Ann. I am sorry to hear of your moms passing. I lost my mom last year. Its not easy. It will take time. I saw your mom once in a while if I made it to bennington in a store. I will always remember her and your family while growing up on Fillmore Street. It seems like only a few years ago! Your all in our prayers. Take care

Ann-Marie and family
I am so sorry to hear about your family's loss. Please accept my deepest sympathy. I appreciated it so much when Connie came to the church hall after my mother's funeral to see us. I know she was not feeling well and she made a great effort to come.
The tribute by her nephew in this guest book is wonderful and so true.

My Aunt Connie was a wonderful, spirited, loving, and charming person throughout my lifetime. I looked forward to my visits to Bennington, my birthplace as well, because I knew that Aunt Connie would be ready to greet me with her gentle smile, her twinkling eyes, her tender hugs, and a never-ending eagerness to ask about my life and willingness to listen to any subject that came to my mind, reserving the right to give me her caring opinion, advice or guidance. She spoke to me also through her example as a wife and a mother which always won my admiration and respect for the strength, courage, and loyalty she displayed. Aunt Connie knew that I was coming to visit her the day before she died. I am consoled by the many memories which I have of Aunt Connie and can still hear her delightful, cheerful voice. My sister, Ginger, reminds me so much of Aunt Connie in the way she has been an attentive aunt to my own children. Aunt Connie's husband, my Uncle Eddie, remains my role-model as to what truly makes a man an actively involved uncle. The Giver of Life gave me a precious gift in the life of my Aunt Connie. I will always cherish her memory for all that she meant to me. My love and prayers go to her children, Ann Marie, Richard and Jeffrey, to her grandchildren and great-granddaughter, and to her family of friends in the Village of Bennington. Our lives are finitely temporal on this earth; Aunt Connie's life is now infinitely eternal in Heaven.
