Constance Lowe Obituary
Connie grew up in Roxbury and Dorchester, Massachusetts. She attended elementary school at St John School. She received her high school diploma from Saint Joseph Academy. Shortly after graduating from high school, Connie began her career with Bell Telephone in Philadelphia, Pa. She was a diligent and dependable employee and was promoted several times during her 35 plus year career at Bell Telephone. After accepting an early retirement, Connie ended her career with Bell Telephone. Connie was able to start a second career with East Coast Salon. She was a cherished member of their customer service team for almost 20 years before her working career ended and she retired. Connie was able to develop several lifelong friendships from her work career.
Connie married the love of her life, George Lowe, Jr. in Philadelphia, Pa. on November 30, 1971. They enjoyed a passion for travel and attending family events. Connie also supported George's singing and acting career. Their love, laughter and devotion lasted for 46 years until George passed away on July 7, 2018.
Connie engaged in a courageous fight against cancer for over a year and a half. She experienced her transition on February 21, 2026 at 78 years old. Connie is survived by her son, Joseph A. Lowe, her daughter-in-law, Natalie P. Lowe, her grandson, Jacob A. Lowe, her sister-in-law, Rev Monice Lowe Howard, her brother-in-law, Daemine Lowe, sister-in-law, Natalie A. Lowe, her nieces Melinda and Marie and her nephews, Daryl, Jason, Lenoard and Lowell. Connie also maintained and enjoyed a loving relationship with her cousins including: Sharleen Daye, Pamela Tennessee, Glen Wesley, Pauline Tilson, Sylvia Conner, Darlene Adams, Twila Williams, Melvin Lacey and Joyce Young.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday March 14, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at McGuinness Funeral Home, 573 Egg Harbor Road, Sewell, New Jersey 08080.
There will not be a Burial/Interment following the memorial service
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in Connie Lowe's memory.
