Constance Morrissette Obituary

Constance "Connie" J. Morrissette passed away peacefully on October 29, 2025, at her home, Ginger Cove Senior Living Community in Annapolis, Maryland. Her departure followed a brief illness, and she leaves behind a legacy of kindness, leadership, and unwavering dedication to her family and community. Born in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, Connie was the beloved daughter of Llewellyn M. and Pauline E. Jones. She carried the values of her upbringing-integrity, warmth, and resilience-into every chapter of her life. Connie's professional journey was marked by excellence and heart. She spent nearly four decades shaping the real estate landscape of Annapolis, first as a trusted sales associate and later as a respected manager. Her commitment to her craft earned her the Graduate Realtors Institute and Certified Residential Brokerage Manager designations. In 2001, she served as President of the Anne Arundel County Association of Realtors, and in 2002, she was honored as Realtor of the Year-a testament to her leadership and the deep respect she inspired in her peers. Before entering real estate, Connie shared her love of language and learning as an English teacher in both Bethlehem, PA and Gaithersburg, MD. She held a Bachelor of Arts from Penn State University and a Master of Education from Bowie State University, reflecting her lifelong belief in the power of education. Connie's greatest joy came from her family. She is lovingly remembered by her daughters Leigh A. Geraghty of Santa Clarita, California, and Melissa L. Morrissette of New Orleans, Louisiana; her granddaughter Morgan Geraghty of Los Angeles, California; her grandson Daniel Geraghty and great-grandson Rowan Cummings of Chaska, Minnesota; and her brother Michael O. Jones of Nazareth, Pennsylvania. Her devotion to her loved ones was unwavering, and her presence brought comfort, laughter, and wisdom to all who knew her. Connie had a special place in her heart for animals and was a passionate supporter of their welfare. Her gentle spirit and generous heart touched many lives-both human and furry. Friends and loved ones are invited to celebrate Connie's life at a memorial gathering at Lasting Tributes, 814 Bestgate Road, Annapolis, Maryland, on December 20, 2025 from 11 am to 1 pm. At 1:00 pm a memorial service will be held at Lasting Tributes followed by a graveside dedication at Bestgate Memorial Park. In honor of Connie's love for animals, memorial contributions may be made to the SPCA of Anne Arundel County, 1815 Bay Bridge Ave., Annapolis, MD 21403.

I remember watching Connie perform at Nazareth High School Band Concerts. She knew how to twirl a baton. She showed her cousins what cool looked like. We were lucky to have her.

May you cherish the memories of your smart and kind mother. I worked at the Coldwell Banker Plaza office for years. Connie was our manager. Smart, funny and always willing to answer the sometimes-complex questions associated with Real Estate. I'm sending prayers of comfort to her family. RIP Connie

I met Connie when she was showing houses in 1978 in a new homes subdivision (Chartridge) in Severna Park Md where I was the project manager. We became business friends over the years and I loved spending time with her. She was kind and knowledgeable and well loved in the real estate community. I treasure the memories I have of her. My heartfelt condolences to her daughters who will see her again one day.

Connie was a kind, funny, and empathetic Aunt. She always had the best stories and had a keen eye for decorating. We love you Aunt Connie. You will be missed.
