With heavy hearts, we mourn the loss of a beloved soul as we announce the passing of Constance Rashall on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital in Lake Charles. Surrounded by her loving family, Constance, aged 81, peacefully embarked on her journey to eternity.
Known affectionately as Connie, she graced this world on October 13, 1942, born to Theoville and Alena Huvall LeBouef who have gone before her. She had a passion for dancing and helping others, and she held a special place in her heart for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. As a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend, Connie's presence will be dearly missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her. Her memory will forever linger in the hearts of her children: Richard Clement and his wife Rhonda of Lake Charles; Rae Woodruff of Sulphur; Nittie Donahue of Mamou; Earnest "Beno" Rashall Jr.; and Haeven Rashall and her significant other, James Darbonne, all residing in Eunice; brother, T. J. LeBouef (Juanita) of Eunice. Her thirteen grandchildren, John Beard, Valerie East (Cory), Daniel Portie(Chad), Tonya Boudreaux (Tressa), Jessie Woodruff (Nicole), Trevor Woodruff, Nikki LaFleur (Adam), Lindsey Donohue, Alena Soileau (Brian), Patchez Donohue, Alandon Rashall, Lily Rashall and Hunter Rashall; thirteen great-grandchildren, Kaleb, Brennan and Reece Lafleur, Joslyn Miller, Wesley Donahue, Allie, Brooke and Alec Soileau, Sawyer and Cambreigh Woodruff, Alyssa, Maddie and Harleigh. She shared a unique bond with Sue and Rodney Westlund, who were like family to her. Connie was a source of boundless love and warmth. She held a special place in their lives that time cannot erase.
Beside her now in eternity are her husband Earnest Rashall and her sister Pat Trahan. Their spirits reunite in peace beyond our understanding.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the visitation which will be held on Thursday, March 21, 2024, from 9:00 am until the time of services. A Chapel Service in memory of Connie will be held at 4:00 pm on the same day at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Eunice. Pastor Danny Ortego will lead the service before she is laid to rest in St. Paul Cemetery.
In this moment of bereavement, we find solace in cherishing the memories we shared with Connie. Let us unite our hearts in paying tribute to a life well-lived.
Carrying her to her resting place is, Kaleb Lafleur, Jessie Woodruff, Trevor Woodruff, Alandon Rashall, Hunter Rashall and Mark Trahan
