Wright, Constance Mae
Howell, MI
Her Legacy After 87 years of loving and caring for others, Connie Wright went into the arms of Jesus on April 21, 2025. She was born on March 3, 1938 in Ann Arbor, MI to William and Mary (Hannah) Porter. Connie married Ed Wright on July 30, 1955 in Howell, MI. Except for a few years in Northern Michigan, she lived her life in Livingston County. Connie was an eucharistic minister and sang in the choir at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Howell. She loved music, dancing, playing her dulcimer, and hearing her grandchildren perform. Her favorite color was blue. In her spare time, Connie liked bowling, knitting, hunting, and camping with family. Connie was known for baking pies, cakes and cookies. Most of all, she loved spending time with family and friends.
Her Family Connie will be greatly missed by her husband of almost 70 years, Ed Wright, her four children, Lee (Joyce), Cindy (Phillip), Jo, Susie; eight grandchildren, Nick (Carrie), Joanna (Ransom), Bethany (Carl) Jonathan, Amanda, Desiree (Yasser) Justin and Jacques; and nine great grandchildren. She is also survived by sister, Gert Eisele; many nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; and many friends who were like family. Connie is preceded in death by her parents and her eight siblings.
Her Farewell Connie's Community Farewell will be held on Monday, April 28, 2025 at (9:00 AM gathering) 10:30 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Howell, MI.
