Constantine "Gus" Chioros of Palos Hills; 91, Died peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family; Born in Parthenion, Arcadia, Greece; Loving husband of 61 years to Theodora "Lula" (nee Kyros); Loving son of the late George and Stamatiki (nee Cosmas) Chioros; Devoted father of Fr. George (Flora) Chioros, William (JoAnne) Chioros, and Tina (Laurence) Woods; Cherished grandfather of Dean, Deanna (Fiance Sean Riordan), Taylor (Payton) Gehm, and Anthony; Dearest brother of the late James Chioros, and the late William (Katherine) Cosmas; Dear brother-in-law of Georgia (the late Dimitri) Hatzioannou, the late Maria (the late Markos) Moulopoulos, and the late Adam (Bessie) Kyros. Fond uncle, cousin and friend to many here, Canada, and Greece. He was the owner and operator of the Colonial Restaurant once located at 55th and Kedzie, Chicago. He was a Master Mason 32nd Degree Hellenic Lodge No. 1084, Shriners, and Order of AHEPA. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory to Shriners Hospitals for Children, appreciated. Visitation, Tuesday July 9, 2024 from 9:30 a.m. until time of Funeral service 10:30 a.m. at Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church 11025 S. Roberts Rd. Palos Hills, IL. 60465.
