Gus Kartsotis, 93, formerly of Allentown, PA, passed away peacefully on August 11, 2025. He is survived by his sons Foster (Martha) and Kristofer (Betsy) Kartsotis and his cherished grandchildren, Jordan and Evan. He was predeceased by his wife of 68 years, Sophia; his parents Photis and Pauline (Loupos) Kartsotis; and his brother, Thomas Kartsotis.
Born on January 25, 1932 in Fountain Hill. Gus was a Penn State graduate and Army veteran who served honorably at Fort Benning, GA. Gus and Sophia owned and operated The Bird of Paradise Flower Shop in Allentown. Following that, Gus worked for 30 years as a commercial real estate broker. He served on the South Whitehall Township Planning Commission and was a devoted member of St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church of Bethlehem.
Gus will be remembered for his remarkable ability to connect with people, leaving a lasting impression on everyone he met. The family expresses their gratitude to the staff at Celebration Villa for their compassionate care and support.
The funeral will be on Thursday August 14, 2025, viewing 12noon to 1PM followed by the Funeral at 1PM, at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral 1607 West Union Blvd. Bethlehem, PA 18018. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Herron Funeral Home in Bethlehem PA.
Remembrances may be made to St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 1607 West Union Blvd, Bethlehem, PA 18018.

Gus, you are now relieved from your post. A job well done fellow veteran. America thanks you for your service to our country in the defense of freedom. The final volley has sounded and taps is about to begin, ending a successful career as a nation“s defender. Farewell fellow veteran.
