Conway Kenyon Smith

Conway Smith, 69, of Syracuse, passed away on Sunday at Central Park Nursing Home at 8:55 am.
He was born on May 12, 1946, in St. Ann's, Jamaica, to Birdie Richards and Frederick Smith.
Conway was a pastor of the Church of God Sabbath Keeping in Syracuse, NY.
He married Mary-Joy Smith in Jamaica in 1974 and migrated to Canada where they lived for 24 years. Then, relocated to New York in 1992.
Conway is survived by his loving Wife, Mary-Joy, his Three Daughters, Charmaine (David) Cumberbatch, Rhoda Smith, Sarah (Gary ) Campbell; Four Sons, Ricardo "Kirk" Smith, Stephen Smith, David (Stacy-Ann ) Smith, Joseph Smith; eleven grandchildren, and two great grandchildren, Two Brothers, Clive (Cherry) Comrie, Randolph "Maxie" Comrie; Five Sisters, Carol (Clifford) Walsh, Jacquelin Charlton, Myra (Harold) Smith, Cheryl Campbell, and Barbara Mathurin.
He was preceded in death by his Sister, Veronica Comrie, Brother, Dwight Cox, mother-in-law Louise Pitter-Anderson, Mother, Birdie Richards, Father, Frederick A. Smith.
Visitation will be held Thursday, September 17, 2015, from 3:00 pm. to 5:00 pm. at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 North Main Street.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 17, 2015, 5:00 pm at the funeral home.
