Cora Etta Calhoun, 92, of Pocahontas, departed this life on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at her home.
Cora was born on January 2, 1934, in Walnut Ridge to the late Joe and Francis Mae Hufstedler. Cora was a lifelong Christian and lived for serving God and her family. She attended First Assembly of God church in Pocahontas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Francis Hufstedler; son, Bill Manning; brothers, Howard Hufstedler, Alfred Hufstedler, and Ray Hufstedler; sisters, Ruby Smith and Helen Girard.
She is survived by her husband, Kurney Mack Calhoun; children, Fred Martinus and Carroll Martinus; grandchildren, Bobby Manning, Cindy Manning, Terry Manning, Trina Breazeale, Waylon Martinus, Joy Martinus and Londi Hughes; great-grandchildren, Gwenevere Hall, Shayna Vallance, Allison Mothershed, Katie Gibson, Madison Gibson, Griffen Payne, Connor Manning, Olivia Manning, Luke Breazeale, Eden Breazeale, Michael Martinus, Alexander Martinus, and Jaydon Martinus; brothers, James Hufstedler and Harry Hufstedler along with many other nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Graveside service will be held Friday, January 9, 2026, at 2:00 pm at Randolph Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Terry Miller officiating.
