Cora B. Reed

Cora B. Reed, cherished mother, daughter, and sister, passed away peacefully in Ottawa on December 14, 2025, at the age of 75. Born on January 4, 1950, in Ottawa, she remained a devoted resident of her hometown throughout her life.

Cora dedicated many years of her career to various roles, showcasing her strong work ethic and commitment to her responsibilities. Her professional journey included significant tenures with H.D. Lee, King Radio/Bendix King, Casey's, and Wellsville Cafe. Additionally, she was known for her dedication in delivering newspapers.

Preceded in death by her father, Richard Welch, and her beloved husband, Donald "Joe" Reed.

Cora is remembered with love by her surviving family members. She leaves behind her devoted mother, Dorothy Kaub; her children, comprised of two sons, a daughter, and two stepchildren; as well as her brothers and a sister. Her extended family also includes a stepmother and multiple grandchildren & great-grandchildren who will continue to cherish her memory and uphold her legacy.

The family wishes to express heartfelt gratitude to all who have extended their support during this difficult time.

A Celebration of Life will be determined at a later date, allowing family and friends the opportunity to honor and remember Cora's life and the impact she had on those around her.

Cora's warmth, kindness, and unwavering dedication to her family and work will forever be remembered by all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
