Corbitt Burns

Corbitt Burns age 80 of Paintsville, KY, died Saturday July 19, 2025. He was born January 11, 1945, to the late Carl and Virgie Bolden Burns. Corbitt was a salesman for Rainbow Homes. He is survived by his beloved companion Deborah VanHorn of 41 years, one son: Anthony Burns of Paintsville, KY, one granddaughter, two great granddaughters, one grandchild, one special nephew: Tony Burns and Christy, one special sister-in-law: Iris and Glen Burchett, a host of nephews and nieces. Along with his parents he is preceded by one daughter: Emma Castle, two sisters: Mary Lou Williams, Magaline Blackburn, seven brothers: Doug Burns, Jay Burns, Ray Burns, Roy Burns, Carl Buck Burns, Rex Burns, and Smith Burns. Visitation will be held Monday from 5 P.M. until 8 P.M. and on Tuesday from 11 A.M. until 1 P.M. at the Preston Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 1 P.M. Tuesday at the Preston Funeral Home Chapel, with Todd Scarberry officiating. Burial will follow in the Lakeview Memorial Cemetery.
