Corey Bowles

Corey was a good basketball teammate and an even better friend.

A separate friend of mine in high school had his iPhone stolen in the gym locker room. Corey found out and retrieved the iPhone, then returned it.

I’ll remember his giant heart, charming smile, and supernatural athletic ability.

Our dearest Freddie and Angie! We, your friends and colleagues wrap our arms around you and hold you and "our son" COREY in this deeply sorrowful time. I say "OUR SON" because We had the privilege to watch your beautiful, respectful, loving son Corey grow up around us and see how much he truly loved you, and adored you, his mother and you, his proud father. Your baby Corey will always be with you when your load feels heavy. Please know that every time you look to the heavens, that perfect cloud is COREY watching his dad's jump shot, smiling at his mother's face and laughing at his uncle Charleston's corny jokes. He will never leave you.....

A prayer for the two of you in your time of need.
Father God, You are my refuge and strength a present help in time of need. Lord, I need you right now. I don´t know how to cope with the loss of my child. I feel so lost it is like the whole world has crashed right before my eyes, and I don´t know where to put my next step. My heart hurts, and nothing makes sense to me. But I know you love me too much and you´re protecting me. Be my refuge now more than ever. Help me to accept what has happened and to hold onto the fond memories that I shared with my child instead of the pain, for I know I will see them again when I come into your presence. In Jesus´ mighty name, I believe and pray. Amen.

My heart won´t let you go, seeing you grow from a baby into a man was an amazing experience. I will miss your smile, laughter and your beautiful soul.
