Corey Lee Elmore ABBEVILLE -- Mr. Corey Lee Elmore, age 44, made a peaceful transition to his heavenly home on Monday, June 1, 2015. He was born in Abbeville County on May 8, 1971 and was the son of James Lee (Jack) and Johnnie Mae Jackson Elmore. He was a 1989 graduate of Abbeville High School, a member of Grace Chapel A.M.E. Church and employed at Eaton Corporation of Greenwood, SC. Surviving are his parents of Abbeville; a daughter, Likisha Shinece Anderson, with whom he made his home; a brother, Peppy Elmore of Abbeville; many aunts, uncles and cousins. Services will be Saturday, June 6, 2015 1 p.m. at Shady Grove A.M.E. Church, with Revs. Carroll Wells, Marilynn Galbreath, Charles Boyce, Jennifer Brown and Johnnie Waller officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery. Public viewing will be Friday until 8 p.m. The family is at the home of his parents, 123 Adams Drive. Services are entrusted to Brown and Walker Home.
