Corey Alan Neff, 36, of Springfield, formerly of Leasburg, passed away suddenly, Monday, October 28, 2024.

On May 8, 1988, Corey was born to James Clark Holweg Jr. and Tressa (Neff) in Rolla, Missouri.

Corey was a graduate from Cuba High School from the class of 2008.

He was a proud member of “The Well Church” in Springfield where he was saved and baptized.

Corey was a jack of all trades, but his specialty was working in residential & commercial construction.

He loved being out in nature while hunting or fishing, in the solace and beauty of nature. Corey was always smiling and loved to make others smile or even laugh. He was a “smack talker” and loved to crack a good joke. His other hobbies included driving his big truck and recycling copper. Corey was known for his big heart and always answering when you called on him. He loved talking to family and friends about the bible and spending quality time with everyone. He will always be lovingly known as “mama’s little man” and grandma’s “pumpkin”. Corey was a beloved father, son, brother, grandson, uncle and especially a great friend to many. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Corey was preceded in death by his father, James Holweg Jr.; paternal grandparents, James & Ann Holweg Sr.; aunt, Jennifer Bellenger; uncles, Tony Holweg and Alec Holweg.

He is survived by his significant other, Kellsie Regennitter of Springfield, two sons, Kayden Neff of St. James and Chandon Brown of Texas; one daughter, Jocelyn Rainbolt of St. James; one child on the way; three sisters, Kayde Lake and husband Joseph of Bourbon, Cassie Holweg and significant other Butch Shoemake of Leasburg & Jamie Wideman of Pacific; his mother, Tressa Holweg and significant other Dennis Loughridge of Leasburg; maternal grandparents, Glenda and Carl J. Neff of Leasburg; uncles, Russell Neff and wife Margie of Lake Ozark and Carl G. Neff of Leasburg; niece and nephew, Bailey Shoemake and Issac Shoemake; other relatives and many friends.
