Corey Cronin White

Corey Cronin White passed away unexpectedly in Virginia Beach, Virginia on Friday, September 13, 2024 at the age of 59.
Corey was born in Delaware on May 9, 1965 and was a graduate of Cape Henlopen High School, class of 1983. While living in Florida, she was employed for 14 years as an underwriter with the Ashar Group. She and her beloved husband, Jamie, also resided in Virginia Beach and recently relocated back to Delaware.
Corey loved all things Disney and was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan. She had a flair for designer purses and enjoyed preparing large meals for family gatherings, with Macaroni and Cheese being a specialty. Corey possessed a generous spirit and always considered the needs of others.
Her husband of 33 years, James Connor White, sadly passed away on July 23, 2024. She was also predeceased by her father, John H. Cronin, Jr.
Corey is survived by her mother, Ruth Cronin; her sister, Carin Cronin Lee and husband, Ron; her brother-in-law, John White and wife, Terri; her sister-in-law, Carrie Monti and husband, Mike; her nieces, Sabrina Lee, Jenn Greenwalt and twins, Sophia and Emma Monti; her nephew, Michael Monti; her uncle and aunt, Bob and Becky Cronin.
Family and friends are invited to visit at the Doherty Funeral Home, 3200 Limestone Road, Pike Creek on Wednesday, September 25 from 10:00 – 11:00AM. A remembrance service in honor of both Corey and Jamie will begin at 11:00AM.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Corey may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105.
