Corine Thomison Obituary
Corine Thomison, 90, of Belton, TX., passed away on Monday, January 20th, 2025. Her visitation will take place on Sunday, January 26th, 3-5pm. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 27th, at 2:00pm. Both will take place at Dossman Funeral Home.
Corine was born on February 21, 1934, in Milam County, to parents Jesse and Caldona Waters.
She married Barton Thomison in 1965. After that she spent her time as a homemaker and caregiver to her family, whom she loved dearly. When she wasn't taking care of her family, she volunteered as a teacher's aide and was an amazing seamstress. She was also into amateur photography. She loved to pictures and share them. She was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ. She will be remembered as a great mother and a great friend.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Barton Thomison; one son Danny Thomison; two brothers, Richard Waters and James Waters; and one sister, Gladys Finto.
She is survived by two sons, Benson Chrisner and Barton Thomison; three daughters, Cori Burk, Mildred Foster, and Ruby Ashlock; two brothers, Herman Waters and Robert Lee Waters; nine grandchildren, Shaun Burk, Christopher Burk, Michael Ashlock, William Ashlock, Timothy Ashlock, Joshua Thomison, Cody Thomison, Teresa Lynch, and Jennifer Huffman; and numerous great grandchildren.
