Corinne Delores Gregory

Corinne Delores "Nana" Gregory (nee Carter), 79, passed away on October 31, 2025, in Vacaville, California. She was devoted to her family and encouraged her children and grandchildren to be lifelong learners. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and volunteering at church and in the community.
Corinne was born in Richmond, Virginia, to Hubert Terrell and Mary Helen Carter and was predeceased by both. She was the oldest of five siblings who preceded her in death: Clarence, Paulette (Frederick), Pauline (Kelly), and Clementine (Larry). Her son-in-law, Adrian Morris, and her high school sweetheart and beloved husband of 41 years, Carl Henry "Pa Pa" Gregory Jr, predeceased her.
Corinne's survivors include her daughters Carla Gregory Morris (Adrian) and Cassandra Gregory Henderson (Charles); and her grandchildren, Briana Rhodes (Matthew), Brooke Henderson, and Charles Henderson II, who were the light of her life. Her eldest daughter, Felicia, predeceased her in 1967.
Corinne came to California as a young bride and made her home in Northern California, where she and Carl built a life centered on family, faith, and service. Over the course of her civil service career, she worked as an administrative assistant before becoming a stay-at-home mother.
Corinne's warm smile, creativity, and generosity will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her family takes comfort in knowing that her battle with congestive heart failure has ended and that she is at peace in the presence of the Lord.
The family will celebrate her life in a private gathering and appreciates your prayers during this time. No public service is planned. Arrangements are under the direction of McCune Garden Chapel, (707) 448-6546.
